ITINERARY DAY 1
SUNDAY 04 NOVEMBER PERTH TO KALGOORLIE Your Tour Escort - Kevin Pearce will be on hand this morning at the East Perth Rail Terminal to assist with boarding procedures. After the Indian Pacific has departed Perth it’s time to settle in to our Gold Service Sleeper Cabins to relax and enjoy the passing scenery Lunch is served in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant as the beautiful Avon Valley ushers us into the eastern wheatbelt. Tonight enjoy dinner in the restaurant before we reach Kalgoorlie. On arrival there is time to take an optional sightseeing tour of Kalgoorlie-Boulder by night before the train departs for the vast Australian outback. INDIAN PACIFIC (L.D)

DAY 2
MONDAY 05 NOVEMBER KALGOORLIE - NULLARBOR PLAIN This morning after we enjoy a leisurely breakfast we soon enter the Nullarbor Plain - a vast limestone plateau. On reaching Nurina we travel the longest, straight section of railway in the world, 478 km to Ooldea without a single curve. At Cook you may wish to alight to admire and photograph this fascinating plain. Lunch and dinner are served in the train’s Queen Adelaide Restaurant. INDIAN PACIFIC (B.L.D)
DAY 3
TUESDAY 06 NOVEMBER ADELAIDE – BROKEN HILL This morning a welcome cup of tea or coffee along with a continental breakfast is served to you in your cabin before The Indian Pacific arrives at Adelaide’s Parklands Terminal at 7.20am. There is time to take an optional whistle stop tour of Adelaide or you may prefer to relax on the train or shop in the terminal. The train is scheduled to depart for Sydney at 10am. Lunch is served in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant as we head outback to Broken Hill where there is time for an optional city tour . We continue on passing to Menindee where we cross the Darling River. DAY 4


WEDNESDAY 11 NOVEMBERARRIVE SYDNEY Wake to stunning vistas of the Blue Mountains with its deep, forested canyons and craggy bluffs. Breakfast is served prior to our arrival at Sydney’s Central Station. Upon arrival we are met and taken on a city sights tour of this lovely city including Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay and Hyde Park. We stop at Milson’s Point for spectacular views of the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and city skyline, followed by the world famous Bondi Beach, the Rocks and Kings Cross. We arrive at Sydney Tower in time for lunch; this is the highest revolving restaurant in the southern hemisphere. After lunch we return to our hotel for check in with the remainder of the afternoon free before dinner. THE GRACE HOTEL (B.L.D)
DAY 5
THURSDAY 12 NOVEMBER BOARD PACIFIC PEARL There is free time this morning before we check out from our hotel and transfer to the harbour to board the Pacific Pearl. After settling in to your cabin it is time to explore this magnificent ship and enjoy lunch in the buffet restaurant. Late this afternoon the ship sets sail with magnificent views as we pass the Sydney Opera House and the Gap, before reaching the open sea. MONDAY 16 NOVEMBER MYSTERY ISLAND, VANUATU Vanuatu showcases the best of tropical island life. A shore excursion around this tropical paradise is a must. PACIFIC PEARL (B.L.D) DAY 10 TUESDAY 17 NOVEMBER VILA, VANUATU Vanuatu’s capital, Vila, is a lovely town clinging to steep green hillsides with meandering streets and a thriving café scene. WEDNESDAY 18 NOVEMBER AT SEA PACIFIC PEARL (B.L.D) DAY 12 THURSDAY 19 NOVEMBER PORT DENARAU, FIJI Port Denarau is one of Fiji’s sun kissed islands with palmfringed coastlines. It has an attractive retail centre where you can shop for local arts and crafts and souvenirs, or you can take advantage of one of the ship’s shore tours. PACIFIC PEARL (B.L.D)
DAY 13 THURSDAY 20 NOVEMBER DRAVUNI ISLAND, FIJI Fiji’s Dravuni Island is a rugged volcanic island in the scenic Kadavu group of islands. The island is home to a couple of hundred friendly Fijians, concentrated in a charming village that shelters beneath tall palm trees. DAY 14
FRIDAY 21 NOVEMBER SUVA, FIJI Suva, the capital of Fiji, is the South Pacific’s largest city and features a fascinating architectural blend of British colonialism and modern Fijian style. Shore excursions are available or you might like to take a stroll off the beaten track. Cascading waterfalls meet you as you weave a path through some of Suva’s lush tropical rainforest with the opportunity to swim in the fresh water pools. PACIFIC PEARL (B.L.D)
